The band story backs to '89, when young funs of metal, known as Freddie Kruger had been utterring from theirs instruments the songs, which had destroyed provincional calm of family town, Żychlin. In that time staff has been formming, and in '91 it finally established. The band assumed new name - In The Dark Pit.
In '92 In The Dark Pit recorded demo tape "In The Dark Pit", containing 7 songs. The band has performed gigs in a lot of cities like Kutno, Plock, Gorlice, Czestochowa, Lodz, Tomaszow Mazowiecki, often accompanied by friendly bands like Borea, Battery, Alastor, Nightmare, Destiny. Beside its own repertoire, In The Dark Pit has performed covers of favouriete groups - Iron Maiden, Slayer, Death, Morbid Angel.
In The Dark Pit finished its activity in '96, but I've decided to revieve songs, which hadn't been recorded during band activity, and also these, which appeared later. There are a few of them on the site Songs.
At present new songs are being prepared, and I hope they will come soon as an official longplay.
